“We love going to VAST. Sarah and Jo work together to provide sessions which are helpful and very enjoyable for all. The vocal and somatic training is so useful for those who have Parkinson's, but also helpful for all. The songs are very varied and are often requests from the group.”

Join a VAST session

Our weekly group sessions offer a therapeutic, welcoming space for people with Parkinson’s, alongside their partners or carers.

During a class we explore movement therapy to release tension and rigidity, vocal rehabilitation and voice production and group singing with live musicians covering a wide range of genres - all in a relaxed, supportive environment. Led by experienced practitioners with backgrounds in Tai Chi, Qigong, Music and Vocal Therapy, each session combines specialist knowledge with tailored individual support.

We currently meet twice a week at St. Mary’s Hall in Saltford just outside Bristol, where you’ll find warmth, encouragement, laughter and a community who understands.

I look forward to VAST every week. It helps to keep me fit inside and out, and helps prevent isolation and loneliness. Give it a go and find out for yourselves!”
